Irresistble Icing // Branding
I first "met" Aimee a few years ago, when she needed a blog header design for her blog: Irresistible Media. This time, Aimee needed a full branding for her company and brain-child: Irresistible Icing. As a person who formerly struggled with eating disorders, Irresistible Icing is her personal story, and inspiration, along with her goal to empower women to be irresistible. And she has an amazing sense of style! It's been a pleasure to watch her brand develop. Thanks again Aimee!

A POSH PARTY by Latasha // BRANDING
I love when a client and I are speaking the same language! Latasha contacted me to rebrand her event company: A Posh Party by Latasha. She wanted to create an entirely new look and her own unique brand that would stand out among the hundreds of other event companies. We created a retro-feel logo and coordinating stationery, bold with patterns, messy handwriting, and a classy elegance. Her chosen branding colors are blush, peony, black, and gold. I simply love her new look!

New business branding | Divine Soul Food
There is something exciting about clients who connect with me to develop their newly established company's brand! Small business is close to my heart and I'm honored every time I can be a small part of giving that company the best start it can have. This time, Lauraine and Debbie contacted me to help launch their holistic company: Divine Soul Food. Their goal is to empower individuals to reach their full potentials through meditation and soul searching.
Eventually through workshops and retreats, books, and community building, their support will help individuals and families to achieve goals, gain knowledge, and develop their own lives in a meaningful way.
They chose a soothing teal, purple, and orchid color palette, and heavily emphasized the use of a well-balanced logo design. With specific ideas in mind, we created their logo and business card design using a modern and very clean design feel.
Without further ado, here is their brand! Thanks ladies!

Luxe elegant | Branding for Faiza Rehman Events & Wedding Decor
Faiza contacted me last week to do a rush rebrand of her company. She had an upcoming bridal show and wanted to create a new logo and business card design to unveil. We began by modifying her company name, giving it a high-end feel and creating a personal brand that can be carried throughout her creative services. Originally, her company was called Wedding Decor by Faiza; after a brief discussion regarding current trends and marketing potential, she decided to begin shifting everything over to her personal brand: Faiza Rehman | Events & Wedding Decor. Faiza opted to incorporate a customized brand monogram into her logo design using her initials. She chose a purple, black, fuchsia, and gold color palette, to keep the brand uber elegant and attractive to South Asian wedding clientele. I designed a custom damask pattern using elements of her logo to carry throughout her other materials, including the business card, promo card, and large vertical banner. I'm excited to share her new brand! Thanks again Faiza!

Business Identity: Logo + business card design | LJ Weddings
Linda contacted me to brand her Australia-based wedding planning company: LJ Weddings. She opted for a timeless black and white color palette, and we brought in a pearl silver and gold accent to create interest. She wanted some sort of monogrammed initials as part of the logo, and we created a very lux-feel set of concepts. Ultimately, she selected a high-end design, simple and usable across many uses from business card design to social media.

Hope & Anchor Photography | Branding develop for Carly
Branding is so much more than simply designing a logo. Brand development incorporates the company owner's personality, preferences, and encompasses the qualities of a strong image. A logo design is just the icing on the cake; business card design, letterhead creation, and palette / pattern development are important facets of the overall branding process. In Carly's case, she knew she wanted a light and airy palette of colors used, along with stripes and dots, keeping a whimsical and care-free feel. It was my job to bring those ideas into a logo and business card design that would be visually pleasing to her potential clients, easy to remember, and easy to carry throughout the company collateral.
She chose a fun horizontal logo layout, and we created the matching business cards. Thanks again Carly, it's been a pleasure!

A New Spin On "Peacock" | Branding for Peacock Photo & Video
Debbie contacted me to redesign her company logo after having the same design for many years. She and her daughter are a wedding photography and videography team and they wanted a logo design that is eye-catching, slightly feminine, but clean and easy. They've used a "dual peacock" motif in the past, so we changed up the peacock design, added a monogram and created a new, high end look. We kept their existing brand color palette, updating it with a rich shade of navy blue. I just adore how the logo and card design turned out! Thanks Debbie!

Personal Brand Creation for Bianca McMillan
Bianca specialized in hair and makeup, along with dabbling in the fashion / model world. She contacted me to develop her a personal brand that would be used for the various facets of her company, including bridal hair and makeup. We designed a elegant, but effective logo along with business cards and comp cards to compliment her new look. She opted for a soft palette of gold, salmon pink, and soot gray, and we brought in textured leather and striped patterns for her collateral. Here is her final chosen suite, thanks Bianca!

Dedicated to getting it right | Branding for Young Love Events
There are little moments during a large design project when I have to abandon any thought of myself and simply focus on my client's needs. While I have preferences and opinions on the "way things should be", sometimes those opinions are set aside in order to give a client what they need.
This is especially true with small business branding. Many of my business clients begin without vision or idea of what they want, and some have a clear image of their new brand and simply need a way to bring the ideas to fruition. Whether the client is clueless or knows exactly what they want, one thing rings true for both parties: as your brand develops, so will your business.
Nichole, of Young Love Events, contacted me several months back to brand her event and wedding planning company. She knew what colors she wanted and how she wanted the brand to represent her. I thoroughly enjoyed developing her new look, from the logo and business card design, to a rear window decal and promo card design. Upon completion of her order, Nichole responded with this very succinct message:
"I've learned so much about what I want for my company by working with you through these past couple months! I appreciate your patience and dedication to getting it right!"
This is what I strive for! Mutual respect between designer and client brings success! During the long and (often) complicated process of brand creation, my end goal remains the same: dedication to getting it right.
Thank you Nichole and I wish you the very best in all endeavors.

New business identity | Jo'Ah Artistry
Jo'Ah contacted me to redesign her company's branding and give her business cards and brochure design a face lift. I had designed her logo MANY years ago when I first began designing, and her company services have changed and grown, so we did the redesign to bring the brand up to date. She wanted something incorporating a monogram or brand to use separately from the logo, in a color palette of teal, eggplant purple, and gray. We used old-world scroll work as inspiration and created an ornate monogram using her company's initials. I'm pleased to share her new look! Anyone in the Port Saint Lucie area of Florida, definitely give her a call to book your bridal makeup or skin care appointment today! Thanks Jo'Ah!

New brand for Scarlett | EVENTS OF LOVE
Scarlett placed an order a couple months ago for a new brand design for her company, Events of Love Weddings and Events. She opted to move forward with a soft and romantic palette of blush pink, gold, and black for her new look. She wanted a logo and materials that would evoke a feminine feel, classy and timeless. We created the logo, business card design, letterhead, and thank you card design for her brand. I simply ADORE her new look, just lovely. Thanks Scarlett!

Modern Effective branding | The Yellow Room
I've had a pleasure of working with Deanne over the past several years on branding for her company, BodyWork Australia. She and her business partner Ben recently have expanded their bodywork business to include other workshops, classes, massage, Reiki, and other services. With this expansion, they decided to rebrand. After consulting with a business advisor, they decided to move forward with a creamy yellow and teal color palette, including black where necessary. They wanted a very clean logo, something that would reflect their new office space and services. The use of white space was also carried heavily throughout their brand. Here is their new look, thanks again Deanne!

Brand design | T.R.U.E Stories Media
I've had the pleasure of working with Antwan over the past couple of weeks to create his new company brand. Antwan specializes in media production, videography, and photography. He had an existing logo that he wanted refreshed and modernized. We worked to design an edgy new logo with matching business card and thank you card design. Here's his new look! Thanks Antwan!

Photographer branding | Modernly Vintage Photography by Amanda Dayan
Amanda placed an order for a new brand and business card design for her photography company: Modernly Vintage Photography by Amanda Dayan. She does fine art photography and wanted sunflowers incorporated into the design somehow. I created a vintage feel for her logo design and a unique square business card design to display one of her silver gelatin prints. We used a muted color palette of mustard yellow, gray, and black. Here is her new branded look! Thanks Amanda!

Branding: Logo + Business design | Che Bella Weddings and Events
Tammy and I worked together over the past couple of months to create a new logo and business card design for her company, Che Bella Weddings and Events. Her and her daughter are wedding and event planners, and in need of a cohesive and eye-catching brand. They opted for a beautiful color mix of plum, taupe, and silver, and wanted a crown motif incorporated into their logo design. They selected an elegant logo accenting their business name with script, and a tiny bit of sparkle included as well. Here is their final look, thanks Tammy!

Business identity | Avila Dawn Events
I've had the pleasure working with Jevettra to brand her event planning business: Avila Dawn Events. I'm also working with her on her own wedding stationery design! In the meantime, we worked together to bring her business identity vision to life. She opted for a black, fuchsia, and gold color palette, something fun, bright, and eye-catching. She wanted their look to stay modern and bold, easy, yet elegant, and ultimately ended up selecting two matching logos to work together for her branding. I designed a business card, thank you card, and letterhead design as well to launch the company. I love this new look so much, I was almost tempted to rebrand my own company haha! I'll leave this beautiful palette and design to Avila Dawn Events though. Without further ado, here is Jevettra's new brand! Thanks again!
