Anshwa contacted me to be a part of a two-party styled-shoot as a collaboration of local Central Texas Vendors with a desire to show brides how they can have the wedding of their dreams by truly expressing themselves.
The entire shoot was inspired behind the premise that each wedding should be designed entirely around the personality of each individual couple. Whether it's a favorite sports team or color or hobby, each couple is different, therefore two weddings should never be the same, and should tell their individual, unique love story.
The Winery Romance Theme was inspired by the couple that loves to visit local Hill Country Wineries in Texas, host wine tastings in their home with friends and family and are planning a honeymoon in Napa Valley. Their first date was at a Wine Dive in Austin where they found how how much each other enjoys discovering new wines. Little details like personalized wine corks; wine grape accents on the place cards and menu cards, and the cake; are the little details that make their wedding unique. In addition, their guests would have an array of fruits, meats and cheeses for appetizers, dine on a hand selected steak and wine paring over candlelit dinner reception, and take home mini-wine thank-you gifts.
The Traveling Lovebirds Theme was inspired by the young, fun loving couple that met in college. When they first met, she had a sunflower in her hair, and he wore a bright yellow Polo shirt…it was an instant connection because they both loved the color yellow. While they were dating, they traveled to several landmarks throughout the State of Texas, collecting a piece of the local culture, eating at unique, local restaurants, and adding a 'we were here' pin to their map of the State at the end of each excursion. For their honeymoon, they plan to backpack across Europe. To bring out their personalities, several touches of Lemon Zest Yellow, love birds, and elements of travel accentuated their theme. Everything from suit cases, to a timeline of all the locations they visited while discovering different parts of Texas. For their Spring afternoon reception, their guests enjoyed a hearty salad, shrimp entree and fun cupcakes for dessert.
